Each program year we seek a panel of experienced presenters to help provide unique youth-oriented workshops to include during the break-out sessions at the high school “Spirit of Leadership” conference and at our Leadership Workshops. The material we seek is compelling, relevant to the teen population, skill building, interactive and most of all delivered with an energy and enthusiasm that engages teens.

Who are our Conference & Workshop Faculty Members?

The Spirit of Leadership's faculty team consists of vibrant talented teachers and professional speakers who specialize in working with adolescent audiences. Our curriculum includes topics such as body image, speaking skills, confidence building, time management, goal setting, financial literacy, and more. Workshop sessions are always high energy and interactive to ensure maintaining the attention of our young audience. We seek faculty members that offer unique teen relevant curriculum – please submit your application on-line to be considered for our upcoming program year!

Frequently Asked Questions:

The mentor-for-a-day program has been expanded into a full-day volunteer position. In past years many workshop facilitators also served as mentors on the same day which, due to timing, is no longer possible. We have however added multiple opportunities to mentor over the course of the year for which we are also accepting on-line applications.

Submit your application to present a workshop – this contribution will make a difference in the lives of our participants. With limited workshop facilitator positions available each program year we hope that you will also submit an application to serve as a "Mentor-for-a-day” an incredible opportunity to spend time with a small group of our participants in a leadership role.

Beyond sharing your unique perspective, gifts and talents with the “Spirit of Leadership” award recipients we will proudly include your contact information in our mentor directory which is distributed to our mentor and speaker team. This diverse team of women leaders has proven to be a great networking community. We will also post your name on our website as a member of our 2010 faculty team along with a link to your website.
